DESCRIPTION:Grape to Glass: The Past\, Present and Future of Agriculture in Lake County - "Panel Discussion: Sustainable Practices in Viticulture\," presented by Tracey Hawkins\, winemaker at Hawk and Horse Vineyards\, Christian Ahlmann\, vice president of operations for Six Sigma Ranch and Winery\, and Paul Zellman\, director of education for the Lake County Winegrape Commission. Second in a series of three programs in the fall Distinguished Speaker Series presented by the Friends of Marymount California University (MCU) Lakeside Campus. A suggested donation of $5 benefits a scholarship fund for students attending MCU Lakeside. This program is sponsored by a generous donation from Community Development Services (CDS) in partnership with the Friends of MCU Lakeside. The final program in this series will be presented on December 1 and feature a presentation by Robert Bath\, professor of wine and beverage studies at the Culinary Institute of America\, Napa Valley: "Farm (And Vineyard) to Table in Lake County."
