DESCRIPTION:First of four shows in the Saturday Night Jazz Club series. This young trio consistently wows audiences with a fine blend of smooth jazz. We're excited to welcome them back after a knock out show at the Soper Reese earlier this year. Pianist and composer\, Ben Rosenblum\, has been described as "a conservatoire ace" and " the kind of cat that's going to go the distance." He's a Juilliard-trained jazz pianist based in New York City who has won numerous awards. Joining Ben is Columbia University student\, Kanoa Mendenhall\, on upright bass. She was born in Yokohama\, Japan\, raised by two pianists\, and started playing jazz cello at age 10. Drummer and composer\, Ben Zweig\, is a recipient of the New Jersey Governor's Award in Jazz Excellence and has toured internationally. All seats $20. Open Seating. Theatre members (Patron Level and Above) receive an automatic discount online and in advance at the box office\, or ask for it at the Door. This is a 4 part series. A $10.00 discount is offered if you want to purchase tickets to all 4 shows up to and including the day of the first show (Jan. 5\, 2019).
